Robin's record speaks for itself - five Commonwealth Games, four CSF Championships, thirteen CSF(ED) championships.  These are just his air rifle caps and overall he has 105 caps for Scotland well ahead of anyone else except Sheena Sharp which shows just how multi-talented he is.

His two CG and four CSF medals are well up the order. He jointly holds the Scottish record for 60 shots air rifle with 592 (achieved twice) as well as the record for an air rifle Final of 105.0.

A versatile shooter, Robin has been in Scotland international teams at all three rifle disciplines, although his highest achievements have been with the air rifle, where he has twice the number of caps as the next person over all levels.  He has won the Scottish air rifle championship seven times and the 3P championship six times   He won the GB air rifle championship in 1999 and was GB 3P champion four times.

Robin has been reticent about supplying details about his shooting career and personal information, but there is no doubt he is one of Scotland's greatest shooters.  He was awarded a specially-engraved crystal bowl to mark his 100th cap in 2006.

Robin is a joiner, living in Alloa and shoots with the Alloa club as well as Glenrothes.

If further information comes to hand, it will be published here!
